Licensed Practical Nurses Association of Alabama

Licensed Practical Nurses Association of Alabama also known as LPNAA was first established on  June 15, 1954. Formed an Incorporated Association under and by virtue of the laws and statues of the State of Alabama Title 10, Section 124, et seq, of the 1940 Code of Alabama.

The objectives and purpose of the LPNAA shall be to associate together all licensed practical nurses of Alabama in order to further the efficient care of the sick and the promotion of health:  the establishment of high standards of integrity, honor, and nursing performance among practical nurses; by the protection of the interests of the general public and of the members of this association with respect to the practical nursing; by the promotion of the interests of practical nurses and nursing; and by the promotion of interaction among its own members, and between its members and the members of other organizations of nurses and others concerned with the care of the sick and the promotion of health.

The First 12 Original Founders (Trustees) that started the LPNAA are as followed:
